How to Use the Screw-Down Crown

  • The crown can be locked (fixed) by screwing it into the case.
Locking the crown prevents malfunction and improves water resistance.

  • Unlock the crown before winding the mainspring (manual winding), setting the time, or setting the calendar.
After the required operations are complete, be sure to lock the crown again.

    (Unlocking)
Turn the crown counterclockwise to unscrew it.

    (Locking)
Push in the crown and turn it clockwise to fully screw it in.
