How to Wind the Mainspring

Manual Winding

Turn the crown to wind up the mainspring.
Slowly turn the crown clockwise in its normal position (0 click).

TIP

  • If the watch has a screw-down crown, first unscrew the crown to unlock it.
    After the required operations are complete, be sure to lock the crown again.

  • The crown spins freely if it is turned in the opposite direction.

CAUTION

The crown will no longer rotate when the mainspring is fully wound up.
Forcibly turning the crown may break the mainspring or damage other parts.
Use the scale marks on the power reserve indicator as a guide when winding.
