Before Use

CAUTION

Peel off the protective film before use.

Using the watch without peeling off the protective film on the back cover will lead to dirt, sweat, debris, and moisture adhering. This may cause rusting or irritation to the skin.

Do not adjust or replace metal straps by yourself.

There is a risk of the watch falling off, or of injury from the parts. This requires specialized skills, so request this of your dealer. If the dealer cannot handle this task, please contact our customer service center.

General Handling

WARNING

Do not leave the watch in a location within the reach of small children.

There is a risk of accidental ingestion. If ingested, immediately seek medical advice.

In the event of the following, discontinue use.

This may result in injury, so promptly contact our customer service center.

  • The case or strap has sharp edges because of corrosion or similar
  • Pins in the strap poke out

Do not use other than diver's watches (water-resistant watches for diving with air cylinders) for scuba diving or saturation diving.

Doing so may lead to accidents or malfunction.

CAUTION

In the event of skin irritation, discontinue use.

Itching or rashes on the skin may occur for some users, such as those with an allergy to metals or leather. In this event, immediately seek medical advice.

When around small children, ensure that they do not touch the watch.

Doing so may result in injury or a metal/leather allergic reaction.

Do not disassemble or repair the watch by yourself.

Doing so may lead to injury or accidents.

Use at a distance of 5 to 10 cm away from magnets or devices that emit magnetism (speakers, refrigerators, etc.).

If the watch is exposed to strong magnetism, it may not display the time correctly. Also, residual magnetism within the watch may cause a malfunction.

Avoid using, storing, or leaving the watch in the following environments.

Doing so may result in discoloration, reduced performance, faulty operation, or malfunction.

  • Extremely hot, cold, or humid locations
  • Locations near volatile substances (chemicals, gases, cosmetics, etc.)
  • Locations with a lot of soot or dust
  • Locations with strong vibrations
  • Locations impacted by magnetism or static electricity
  • Movements with shocks or impacts, such as strenuous sports

Beware of loosening or detaching of the metal strap.

If there is rust on the pins in the metal strap or the parts joining the case and the strap, the strap may detach and the watch may fall off.
